We’re looking for part-time writers to handle a couple of article assignments each month. $25 for 400-600 words and $50 for 800-1000 words. We’re supporting this with money raised each month through our Patreon page: https://www.patreon.com/everybodyhasabrain

Each article assignment will require some research so it helps if you know your GABA from your ACT and your basal ganglia from your dilithium crystal. An example of an assignment would be something like: “Find all of the articles/research papers online that claim to have found the cause of depression. What does it mean that there are so many ’causes’? How do we make sense of the fact that many seem to conflict with each other?”

Sometimes we may ask you to review an app or piece of technology, in which case we’ll send you the tech or pay for access to the app. We’re also excited to hear about any article ideas you might have.

We’d love to find people that share our passion for recovery from mental illness and have burning fascination with their brains (or other people’s brains). We’re open to writers from all backgrounds and experiences and interested in sharing voices from all over the world that are underrepresented in mental health discourse.
